Lalu's biggest punishment in fodder scam
In the case of illegal withdrawal from the Dumka treasury of the fodder scam, a special CBI court in Ranchi on Saturday sentenced Lalu Prasad to seven-seven years imprisonment in two streams while pronouncing the biggest sentence till date. Along with this, he has been fined Rs 60 lakhs. However, it is not clear now that these two punishments will go together or separate. 7-7 years jail and 60 lakh fine
Prabhat Kumar, advocate of Bihar's former chief minister, told that Laloo Prasad has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment under the Indian Penal Code and a penalty of Rs 30 lakh has also been imposed. Along with this, seven years imprisonment has been sent to the jail under the Prevention of Corruption Act and imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh.
