One of the scariest things is when people beg their governments to disarm the population.
So, you only want the corrupt government people to have the power then?
To be fair... I'm sure those kinds of individuals would love it if there were zero guns and no one had any, but that's extremely unlikely and I don't really see anyone trying to disarm the government...? No, just the regular/common people it seems...?
What about all the bombs that have been dropped slaughtering millions of innocent people over the last few decades alone? What... You want to give our ability to defend ourselves to those same people who are mass murdering millions of innocent people around the world? Hmm...
I don't see barely anyone talking about that... Our governments have ruthlessly murdered way more children than all of the school shooters combined likely ever will.
They drop bombs on schools, weddings, hospitals, etc... But, it's crickets when it comes to people talking about that.
It's always so weird to me how the masses tend to trust the most sociopathic psychopathic corrupt dishonest megalomaniacs, but they don't even trust their own neighbors or themselves.
The people who do this are so disconnected from what's going on in the world that the government can use them like pawns, puppets or tools to progress their vicious agenda, meanwhile demonizing regular people who are just trying to simply protect themselves and their family.
It's worth mentioning that the general common sorts of people who want to control or ban guns are usually coming from a place of wanting to help others and prevent needless death and injury, so it's important to remember that.
Simultaneously though it's important to zoom out a bit and look at the bigger picture and unfortunately sometimes that's not possible if you get all your information from the mainstream media and don't spend years of your life passionately investigating what's truly going on to the best of your ability using ALL available sources and then using critical thinking to come to your own conclusions instead of just being spoon fed your beliefs.
No amount of bullying or harm done to you justifies taking that out on innocent people. And... Maybe it would be helpful to address the basic idol worship when it comes to violence in movies, video games and music and especially when it comes to the way our cultures and governments work in regard to forcing their ways violently on others and murdering hundreds of millions of people over the years or the ways in which we destroy the environment and animals instead of learning to live in peace and harmony.
PS, if you trust government so much to control so much perhaps you should do some research on the word "Democide".
