Concurso La Voz Cantante Week42/ Devuelveme a mi chica (Give me back my girl) Capella cover @apolo1

Receive a warm greeting.

I am pleased to be participating in this new week with all of you. Thanks to the whole community for the warm welcome you gave me, thank you very much.

It was something very symbolic for me to have been able to enter this beautiful Rock community. Despite not being a professional singer as many here I feel that I can learn many positive things from everyone, which in the short or medium term I can put into practice to improve every day.
For all the above mentioned, today I want to present you my cover of the song "Devuelveme a mi chica" by the Spanish Rock band Hombres G.

Devuelveme a mi chica.

Give me back my girl

This song is written by the Spanish singer-songwriter David Summers, member of the rock music group Hombres G. This song over time has become a kind of anthem within the Spanish rock, we can also say that the theme is inspired by real events where the composer David Summers is involved in a kind of spite before the breakup with his girlfriend of that time Macu.

Macu leaves Summers to become the girlfriend of a guy who had a white Ford Fiesta, Summers who in a night of concert hears about this decides to compose this song which he would sing in his next concert in which his ex-girlfriend Macu would be present along with her current boyfriend.

At first it was called "Sufre mamón" but after some arrangements and on the advice of the same label it was renamed "Devuelveme a mi chica". Undoubtedly this song narrates the impotence and mixed feelings of Summers after the breakup with Macu, but above all it narrates the desire he has to take revenge on the posh guy with the white Ford Fiesta for having taken his girl away from him.

Undoubtedly, it is a beautiful and rhythmic song that I'm sure everyone here loves. Hombres G is one of my favorite Spanish Rock bands.

Devuelveme a mi chica (letra).

Estoy llorando en mi habitación
Todo se nubla a mi alrededor
Ella se fue con un niño pijo
Tiene un Ford fiesta blanco
Y un jersey amarillo

Por el parque les veo pasar
Cuando se besan lo paso fatal
Voy a vengarme de ese marica
Voy a llenarle el cuello
Con polvos picapica

Sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica
Sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica

Le he quemado su jersey
Y se ha comprado cinco o seis
Voy a destrozarle el coche
Lo tengo preparado, voy esta noche

No te reirás nunca más de mí
Lo siento, nene, vas a morir
Tú me quitaste lo que más quería
Y volverá conmigo, volverá algún día

Sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica
Sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica

(Sufre, mamón) sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica
(Sufre, mamón) sufre, mamón, devuélveme a mi chica
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica

Give me back my girl (lyrics).

I'm crying in my room
Everything is clouding up around me
She ran off with a posh boy
She's got a white Ford fiesta
And a yellow sweater

In the park I watch them go by
When they kiss I have a terrible time
I'm gonna get even with that faggot
I'm gonna fill his neck
With itching powder

Suffer, sucker, give me back my girl
Or you'll be writhing in a peckerwood powder
Suffer, sucker, give me back my girl
Or you'll writhe in a pecker powder

I've burned her sweater
And she's bought five or six
I'm gonna wreck his car
I've got it ready, I'm coming tonight

You'll never laugh at me again
I'm sorry, baby, you're gonna die
You took from me what I loved the most
And he'll come back to me, he'll come back to me someday

Suffer, sucker, give me back my girl
Or you'll be writhing in a dust bowl of itching powder
Suffer, sucker, give my girl back to me
Or you'll writhe in a powdered picapica

(Suffer, sucker) Suffer, sucker, give me back my girl
Or you'll writhe in picapica dust
(Suffer, sucker) suffer, sucker, give my girl back to me
O te retorcerás entre polvos picapica (You will writhe between picapica powders)
