Math and physics were my favorite subjects at school. It was a long time ago. I graduated from high school in 1986 and went to study at a university, majoring in "Computer Science".
This year, my youngest daughter enrolled in the same specialty at university. On Saturday, we talked on the phone, and she said that all the international students in her group know mathematics well, while her compatriots know it poorly. I'm not surprised. I remember my classmates and their reluctance to study.

What I want to say is that you're learning for yourself, not for someone else! And knowledge is always needed. Mathematics is useful because it develops the mind and makes the head think.
