At 7 a.m., my journey towards Belarus began.
Our bus made its first technical stop after 120 km, and at that moment I realized that more than 50 people were traveling with us. Such a large group creates some inconveniences. Our second stop was in the city of Sharya, Kostroma region. I often drive through this city in my car without stopping. This time there was a planned stop at a cafe to eat. What can I say - there are a lot of us and everyone wants to eat.
At 5 p.m. we arrived in Kostroma. This is an old Russian city with its own interesting history. It is the abode of the Romanov tsars, who ascended the Russian throne in 1613 and were overthrown in 1917.
I also drive through across this city in my car non-stop and have always made plans to come here and walk through its streets. I partially succeeded today. I had 2 hours. The bus stopped near the central square, which residents simply call the Frying Pan because it is round. The old fire tower, which currently houses the historical museum, is considered to be the decoration of this square. Of course, I wasn't inside the museum, I just took a photo of the "Fire Power on the Pan." The time was about 18:20, the sun had already disappeared below the horizon, the blue hour had come and the sky had a thick blue color, that's what attracted me.
This is our comfortable bus. Tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. we will continue our journey west. Everything is fine, everything is fine, but there are problems with my legs. I would love to detach them and put them on a shelf.
Tomorrow we have to arrive in Minsk late in the evening. I hope I'll find the time to write another post.
