The village where I live is located around one large hill. We call this place a Gorodishche.
According to legend, in ancient times, 13 heroes sailed to these places along the river and founded fortresses on this hill. Since then, the settlement of free people began to grow, and then the city.
In honor of these heroes at the end of the last century, a local historian and his friends raised 13 boulders on this hill to perpetuate the memory of former times.
Посёлок, в котором я проживаю расположен вокруг одной большой возвышенности. У нас это место называют Городище.
По преданию в давние времена в эти места приплыли по реке 13 богатырей и основали крепости на этой возвышенности. С тех пор и начало расти поселение свободных людей, а затем и город.
В честь этих богатырей в конце прошлого века местный историк со товарищами и поднял 13 валунов на эту возвышенность, чтоб увековечить память о былых временах.
