Warm greetings Hive!

Here we are again showcasing our weekly curation of celebrated posts from the Architecture+Design community as we gladly continue elevating architecture and design with the Hive social blockchain to the world.

We are your dedicated community covering digital content about Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Urban Design, and Environmental Design.

In today's report, we're truly delighted to present to you our 43rd Edition where our top-featured publications highlight a stylish hotel accommodation in Indonesia, spectacular architectural relics on the island of Gibraltar, and an interesting church from an autonomous community in Spain.

Don't forget to also check out our "Runner-Up" entries for their remarkable publications.

By the way, please be informed that this particular weekly compilation does not include the contest entries from the ongoing OCD Community Boost Contest for Architecture+Design which runs from October 13 - 19, 2021.

Our Champions for the Week:

When we are staying at a hotel, the interior and exterior of a hotel are something that tends to get brushed off. As long as the place is “nice” people are often satisfied. But, let me take you to be more observant. To appreciate little things in life and to let your mind wander into a new territory. I am not an architect but I enjoy experiencing things that architects made. I don’t have a formal education but I attended some informal education on urban design, environmental friendly design, and historical buildings. So, I hope this adds a bit of credibility into what I write.

A curiosity of the arch of the ancient Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario is that it is made of sandstone. A sedimentary rock that is easy to carve and is found on the opposite side of Gibraltar in a fossilised dune. The rock is composed of hard limestone rock which is what the English used to build the dwelling that now stands where the church used to be. The rock quarried from the construction of the 18th century tunnels was used to rebuild the town.

Located just 5 kilometers from Reinosa -which could be considered as one of the capitals of the so-called Palentina Mountain- and just over an hour away from Santander and the Cantabrian coast, Cervatos is a small town that could possibly have passed completely unnoticed by tourism in general and by scholars of Romanesque Art and Architecture in particular, had it not been for the fact that one of the four impressive Romanesque Collegiate churches of Cantabria is located there - anyone would say inexplicably -: the Collegiate Church of San Pedro.

For the best experience in our community, kindly follow and adhere to our Community Rules (located at the Right Side of our webpage on desktop and at the About Tab on mobile). Likewise, take note of our Preferred Minimum Standard as this is a crucial requirement for publications to be qualified for our upvotes, reblogs, nominations, etc.

We also highly encourage everyone within the Architecture+Design Community to actively interact, engage, and connect with other subscribed authors by commenting on their posts and by replying to their comments - inside and outside your own content.

Moreover, please be reminded that for comments and replies using other languages, the English language translation must also be included/provided with them. This would ensure that everyone on the Hive blockchain would fully understand the written messages, thus allowing participants to properly connect with the various conversations within our digital ecosystem. Social engagement is crucial because it's the driving life force that energizes our community.

Our extreme gratitude to all who faithfully contribute, patronize, and support the Architecture+Design Community! We are steadily thriving, evolving, growing, and we could not have accomplished it without you. Thank you very much!

Congratulations, well done, and more power to all our outstanding authors together with their featured publications! Stay awesome!
