Large arches are present throughout the building, as well as wide and high doors. As I understand it, so that the air can ventilate in these tropical lands. Just imagining these archbishops and priests with those long cassocks walking in a hot and humid afternoon in this place, I understand perfectly the reason for the doors and windows, and is that in colonial times there were no air conditioners.
After finishing, I felt that there was still something missing...some detail that would make this piece of furniture look amazing. And that's when I had the idea to make flowers in the drawers. I used a stencil I already had at home to make the drawings, because at that time my drawing skills were even worser than now. For the flowers I used acrylic paint and a makeup brush (!!!!) because I didn't have any at the time.
When I'm on a trip, I don't just observe buildings. Meanwhile, I stop to see the beautiful walls and observe the unique shapes. We can also gather some knowledge in seeing them. So I don't always focus only on buildings. Architecture is not just a subject of buildings. Therefore, all things related to construction are related to architecture, so I pay more attention to all those things. Especially when observing distinctive shapes.
