✨ My Introduction Post to the Hive Community

Hi everyone, my name is Awe John Oluwasegun, but on Hive I go by Hive account@apexed. The username comes from the profession I’m deeply rooted in, that's education. I was born on the 24th of January, and I graduated from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, where I studied Primary Education (Economics). I completed my degree in 2013.

Education has been my life for as long as I can remember. In fact, my teaching journey started even before graduation. As of this year (2025), I’ve spent 14 years in the field, and today I serve as the Principal of the school where I work. Beyond academics, I am also a part-time clergy, a keyboardist, a saxophonist, and a farmer.

One of the things I currently enjoy is rabbit farming, which I started in August 2024. From just a small beginning, I can now boast of having raised about 25 rabbits. I’ve sold some, gifted some, and learned a lot along the journey. It’s been fun and fulfilling.

I joined Hive through my cousin Hive account@chatsunny, who introduced the platform to me about two months ago. Because we live in different states, I wasn’t able to make my introductory post earlier. Now that I’m visiting him again, he took time to guide me through the platform and its communities, and here I am finally making my first post.

A few things about me

I love singing, playing musical instruments, having deep spiritual conversations, counseling, teaching, and reading. I also love cooking, but due to my tight schedule I’ve slowed down on that, and my wife and children have lovingly taken over the kitchen duties. As for food, I don’t exactly have a favorite meal, but I avoid eating swallow late at night for health reasons.

I’m genuinely happy to be here. I look forward to sharing my thoughts, connecting with people, learning from this amazing community, and sharing my journey with you all.
