I recently purchased this 89 dollars matte box for my filming and I have to say it's an amazing tool. Most people think matte boxes are dumb and only really good to make a camera look expensive. While I do agree with that somewhat it's also very handy. I use this to hold my filters and create some unique and interesting looks while filming. While most "professional" matte boxes sell for hundreds of dollars this one is less than 100. It does have some limitations but you can't get everything for this low of a price. It's built well and very lightweight. I absolutely love it and use it all the time.
I've been getting more into product photography and figured I would practice on my own camera gear since why not. Would love to know what you all think!
