I listen to a ton of classical music and I am getting sick of listening to the same things as I have exhausted a lot of the classical music I like. The following opinion is just a theory, I know little about psychology or this stuff. But I think each time I listen to a symphony or whatever that I really like, its almost like dopamine maybe. Eventually I exhaust. I think it might be like this cause I get a big buzz off listening to classical music as it is very strong in emotion which I resonate with. Of course, to me, it eventually loses the initial effect. And maybe I chase it. So yeah I have been burnt off music as well. I still listen to it over and over then, its actually depressing. l find a new piece of classical music which I aint heard of before and I exchaust it in like 2 days as I just listen to it so much
makes me annoyed composers did not write more pieces before they died
actually now that i think of it, i have abused classical music to make me study longer for the past like 4 years, no wonder im getting burnt out on it
and everything i listen to these days is the most emotionally charged classical music that i think off.
