I love having chickens here in Panama. I have 14 teenage hens and 10 laying hens, even though I only get about 3 eggs a day. I buy whatever they have available at the feed store. I have one male as well as some Bantums that are pretty well wild. I'm sure you'll enjoy having chickens. I'm also a bargain hunter! I love that you traded cat food and treats for something useful!
