At the present time Bitcoin, Lightcoin, Dash and Pivx are doing fine and it seems that bitcoin and dash are going to give us some good news within a few weeks time.
Pivx is considered a mid to long term coin and lightcoin is known as a backup to bitcion. Where bitcoin goes lightcoin goes too. Not as much as bitcoin but increases step by step.
As bitcoin everytime gets harder and harder to mine the investors look for other coins to mine and that is what is happening now.
