Hello Everyone.
In Indonesia, this insect is called Bapak Pucung (Latin: Dysdercus cingulatus). These insects are not wild so they are easy to find. Usually these 12-18 animals like plants such as cotton, oranges, corn, and even others. Bapak Pucung has a white collar and three black spots. the most dominant is red.
These insects feed on the nectar and fruit of non-host plants, and can survive for several days without food. For cotton farmers, these animals are difficult enemies to eradicate. These tiny insects suck the liquid from the seeds, which are still soft in them, so that the bolls rot.The following are photos I took using a smartphone camera without using light.
