First impression: I don't like it. It feels rigid and stifling.

I can't put my finger on it, but it feels like amazing content might fall to the wayside, because someone else has used a prettier picture and better sources. And there is no actual weight to the points. This means every category is worth exactly the same amount of points.

How many points on informativeness will you give a poem? How many points on creativity, if someone tells a factual story or explains an scientific article?

Maybe just:

Content: 1-5
Presentation: 1-5
Engagement: 1-5

I think you're doing this, because you don't like the pressure of picking the winner and possibly hurting a loser, but this is what makes it interesting. We're aiming to impress an actual person with our content.
