In the short term we can only raise pobs value by buying POB (raising demand on the market) or by creating great content, that makes people flock to us.
Buying wouldn't really help in the long run.

I don't know how I feel about selling big amounts of POB right now. Even if it's for the development of the frontend.
The volume is very low and the price is very volatile. Adding up buying and selling, only 600$ changed hands in the last 24 hours. Imagine someone would try to sell 5000 POB at any price. The price would plummet and I don't know how long it would take to recover.
