I felt it as soon as I crossed the border to the south for the first time.
Some of it was exposed to me while I was there.
Much of it is left to learn.

I have yet to understand why folks would insist on only one reality being 'the truth' when our shared realities can never be the same just from the standpoint of viewpoint alone.
It's only true if it is true for you.
It doesn't have to be true for others, their viewpoint differs by perspective and other measures.
They can't see with your eyes, nor hear with your ears.
