But they have set it up right next to two petrol stations and 2 shopping centers, if it was targeted the civilian casualty count would be high and most of them would just be people shopping for fuel, for food/clothes and cutlery.

Need to ask them which side they are on.
Surely their leaders aren't just stupid.
That needs agitation, imo.

Military stuff should be well separate, and camouflaged well enough not to show.
Anything with electronics in it can be targeted from space.
They have nets to mitigate that.

It is a main road and only 50 minutes from the border, or 600 liters of fuel and 2 days in a stupid tank.

WW2 tanks had 600hp engines, today's tanks have helicopter engines, you should probably up your top speed estimation.

Irregardless, their tents should be in a field.
They signed up to die, not take the people they ostensibly protect with them.
