IF a half ounce of silver is selling for more than 1000usd, how do they keep it from getting melted down?
I'm thinking silver will be more important than ever, much too valuable to use as currency.
Makes more sense to me that the current coinage would suffice without the worry of intrinsic value exceeding face value.
The banks hold most of the change, so they would be for the current coinage assuming the new value that I otherwise agree with you is coming.
