Or you alter the perception of value in the culture.
When the culture values hard work and self sacrifice you get more of that.
A culture shift from 'money at any cost' to 'community benefit' changes crapitalism from dog eat dog to something with more mutual benefits.

Why would I choose dog eat dog where I have to work 60 hours a week for 40+ years to end my days being fed strained peas in a group home where I don't know anybody when I could choose 20 hours a week for ~25 years and retirement to abundance?

Crapitalism's math doesn't work for me.
The offer now is that I can slave those hours away and never be able to own my own home?
I'm afraid the kids are out on that.
