هوندا أول من يفعلها

يعد هوندا اللاعب الوحيد الذي فعلها في تاريخ كرة القدم بأن يكون مدربًا ولاعبًا في آن واحد لدولتين مختلفتين حيث تولى مسئولية تدريب المنتخب الكمبودي بخلاف مشاركنه مع ميلبورن فيكتوري ناديه الإسترالي .

هذا وكان هوندا قد اعتزل اللعب الدولي إثر خروج المنتخب الياباني من كأس العالم الماضي ليبدأ تحديد خطوط مستقبله والتي حملت المفارقة في طياتها .
