Personally I think the time is right now. Right when you feel the twinge of inspiration. Like fanning the embers to start a cooking fire by responding to those desires for creativity. They really do help build up the skills you already possess and are especially useful here. You can chat effectively with other users about different topics and gain a deeper insight into what socially engaging content really can be. Including viewpoints can lead to a broad perspective encompassing these said topics.

That is an easy answer, hardly anywhere else on the web lets a user monetize their content right away. HIVE is great because I am in control of my assets too. The age-old, My Keys, My Crypto, philosophy. Also, there is the option for anonymity and a certain level of privacy. Those alone are great features for HIVE.
