I disagree. That being implemented will defeat one of the advantages of Hive which is feeless transactions.

That's like a Proof-of-Brain, but those with "brain" are not incentivized to share their knowledge because they will get no rewards. I agree with you against this rewards update.

If you want to read my farewell letter (again), you may visit it using the link My leaving has been late for several days. I believe that I have already given enough time for people to say goodbye to me.

As planned, I will delegate all my Hive Power to @dbuzz. I will monitor the email address I provided for 30 days from the last time somebody here on Hive emailed me there. I have assigned @oniemaniego,

I agree that Apple provides better privacy than any Chinese app (WeChat in this case). However, "better" does not necessarily mean "good enough".

Cryptocurrency traders can range from beginner to expert, so there is a term called "novice trader".

You can do that, but it cannot guarantee your anonymity (or privacy) forever. In fact, I am always using the Tor browser to access Hive, but now is the time for me to stop my anonymous activities due to

Again, you are missing my point. I know you can encrypt every bit of the data itself and nobody can decrypt them without the private keys, but you cannot encrypt the metadata - uploader data, time of upload,

I don't think traders need to be "advanced users". It is like saying that privacy enthusiasts need to be advanced users.

That's what I also found. Based on what you said, it is indeed the 1st time you heard about it, though I disagree with the "6 years still new" part.

If almost 6 years is still new to you, then it is indeed new. If that's the case, then #Tutanota is also new.

You are telling something about "having fun", but you don't realize how much the metadata (data that describes data) can tell about the data itself (before it is encrypted) and its original uploader.

I now realize that you missed my point. I said that encrypting something but storing it publicly still tells a lot about the uploader. It does not matter if the encryption is broken or not.

Well, for that, I would like to know any law that is actually applied equally.

I did not say that it is still in beta until now. If somebody cannot join because it has a waitlist, then probably new members are not welcome there. What I mean is that users would find it difficult to

Maybe @gabbynhice assumes that everyone - billionaires, politicians, and government surveillance agents included - will be implanted with the microchip. It is still bad in my opinion, unless there is informed

It heavily infringes on the human right to privacy. I strongly disagree with your thought. Sorry.

I hope that more people read the 1984 novel or watch the 1984 movie. However, the copyright of the novel is still in effect until after December 2020, so it would not be legal (in most countries) to acquire

would provide enough privacy to remain anonymous You cannot be truly anonymous if at least one person or organizations knows about your activities where you try to be anonymous.

I don't think it is "new" if it started in 2014 (although as a beta version), and it is not a "project" because it is a private, for-profit business.
