I think you still misunderstand the Chinese. The video I cited says 90% of them have identified as being part of one race the Han, even though they were originally many ethnicities. Chinese don’t want a breakup because they know the result will be unstable chaos that gives them a worse economic outcome. There’s no reason for China to breakup as it is rising economically.
Bottom line is Asia has only one direction to go economically and that is up. So much more inspiring to be in Asia than to be in the societalcide of the West, although in the near-term by some measures the quality of life is still higher in the West.
Corporations have been forced to kowtow to China’s edicts otherwise they lose access to the large Chinese market.
Only when the economic expansion that China’s hegemony can bring to China and the developing world has stagnated, will the power vacuum open for a new paradigm to weaken China. Until then and for next decades, the world in entering the phase of a strong Red Dragon.
Western governments will not likely be able to leash the corporations, including Chinese corporations. And I do agree that at some point the corporations will be able to leverage the inability of China to maintain control over all the countries joining their sphere of influence w.r.t. the power of corporations. But that will take some decades to develop. Let’s say the power of corporations will rise in parallel with the rise of China’s hegemony, because China’s empire depends on giving vassal States significant autonomy. China could not efficiently expand and manage its empire if it tried to have iron fist control over all the vassal states in its sphere of influence.
Agreed the West is heading into an accelerating decline, but I don’t know if it will be scorched earth as soon as you might expect. In any case, it’s not going to be all bright and cheery in the West.
