I missed on the Leo airdrop. Supposedly it was dropped to PAL holders but I didn't hold any PAL at the time of the drop.
I missed out on the CUB airdrop. Supposedly it was dropped to LEO holders - Leo is thriving right now in case you didn't notice. I missed that drop as well.
Why did I miss on both? Right after the Justin Sun hostile takeover I lost some hope, not on Hive but in general, and also things happened in real life that made me stop being up to date as much as I had been over the previous three years.
Anyway, I missed on both drops.
Then I bought CUB at $3 each. One thousand dollars. Not that much if you are from Germany or Korea, but a lot if you are from Mexico, especially after having to sell 80% of your Hive stake because of personal, Covid related issues.
My timing couldn't have been worse.
Cub dropped to cents. I lost all hope because that was around 50% of my liquid crypto and I didn't even care about staking in farms to increase my bag. I hadn't even blogged in LeoFinance until two months ago.
Timing is everything.
I had tens of thousands of PAL at some point but sold cause I didn't believed in the project - Aggroed and Matt are great, just didn't believe in PAL. I could've gotten tens of thousands LEO if I had held my PAL, but Hive was king back then and I sold all my pal for a few K Hive.
Timing is everything. And I mentioned that loyalty has no room when you are about gains.
I am back. It's been a few months since I've been 100% active and committed with Leo Finance, CUB and DeFi and it has shown me that despite being a late player with no experience in the game other than my Crypto experience, there is still a lot to learn and much more to gain if you pay attention.
I am not rich, and yet I can still make some gains. How?
I get my head off my ass and stop thinking that it is too late to invest in something. It is never too late...
...until it is too late.

I doubled down in my CUB investment. I had put 1k USD a year ago. I put up another 1K into CUB. The price went from 28c to 45c.
Sold all my CUB, bought PolyCUB when it launched betting that the price increase of PolyCub would trump the airdrop I could get from staking my CUB + the price of CUB.
