This is not a great post in terms of pictures, because the market itself is not that great.
Mexican Christmas markets are not what they used to be. There's still some magic, some Christmas vibes and of course, a green-and-red scenery overall, but it's nothing like it used to be around ten years ago.
I don't want to get political, there will a post about the war on Christmas later on, but I have the feeling that Christmas in general in fading off in Mexico as it might be in other places all over the world.
But, I was still able to find some Christmas themed on-wheels shops inside this market that sets shop every day in the downtown are of Puebla, Mexico.
Out of around 150 stands, only around 50 were Christmas related or had some items related to Christmas. Not a bad number, but definitely not what I expected, especially because this specific market is known to be the main Christmas themed market in the city.
I don't know if it happens anywhere else, but in Mexico the people selling in markets don't like it when you take pictures of their merchandise or their stand - apparently because they think you are there to steal their ideas (yeah, as if, besides they are not original at all, most stuff is bought from China these days and what is crafted in Mexico, is unique but that's rare) - so, excuse my picture quality, I had to come up with many crazy ideas and poses to actually be able to take pics :P
