What an awesome teaching i was richly blessed form the meeting tonight the words spoke to me directly explain the teaching on how to bring up our children.
I learnt the importance of discipline when it comes to the upbringing of our children.
In our generation parent pays less or no concerns to thier children I will be sharing with us what I learnt.
Proverb 22 : 15 we where thought in this scripture that it is in the nature of children to misbehave but if the are not corrected that mistake will turn into a habit the verse says
Foolishness is bound In the heart of a child the bible says but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Proverb 13 : 24 the bible is teaching us not to spare the rod In the upbringing of our children this is because if we spare the rod we do no good to our children.
The bible says he that spareth his rod hateth his son but he that love him chasteneth him quickly
Ephesians 6 : 4 here as parent we learnt that we should not provoke our children even when we are correcting them we should correct them in love.
As parent we should make sure when we are correcting them the are aware of what the have done and what the should do. The bible says,and ye fathers provoke not your children to wrath bring them up in the nature and the admonitions of the Lord.
2 Timothy 3 : 2 in this verse the bible made it clear to us that men will only love them self the shall also disobey thier parent that is why we are seen thought on how to train up our children the bible says train up ypur child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it it.
It has been made clear to us in this verse that men shall be lovers of them self covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unthank, and u holy.
Proverb 22 : 6 we are thought in today's teaching the importance of nurturing our children in the ways of the Lord here the bible is saying that we should train up a child in the ways he should go and when he is old he will not depart from the teaching of the Lord.
Hebrew 10 : 24 I understand In this verse that we should love our selfs and consider one another. Help one another as brethren in the true church of God
