I bring you greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I want to appreciate God for this message from bro Eli it was a packed filled service I will be shearing with us what I learnt.
John 4 : 1 here the bible Is teaching us to test every spirit because we have somemany spirit out there that will come to us and say thus says the Lord when God has not spoken to them the bible warns us to stay away from fuales prophet.
2 Peter 2 : 1 here the bible still warns and told us that even from among us there are fuales prophet so we most be careful.
Bro Eli also taught us to only follow the doctrines of Christ Jesus alone written in the bible.
1 Thessalonians 5 : 21 here the bible is teaching us to make our own research the bible says we should prove all things and hold fast the one which is good that means we must examine every doctrine and make sure we pick the right one.
Bro Eli also made us understand that God does not harking to the prayers of sinner.
John 9 : 31 here the bible made us understand that God heareth not the prayer of a sinner but it also says that if any man worship him and does his will he will hear his prayers.
Proverb 15 : 8 the bible made it clear here saying the prayer of a sinner is an abomination this means the the prayer of a sinner is a sin before God the bible still tells us saying but the prayer of the upright is a delight to him.
Bro Eli also showed us the scriptures in the bible that taught us how to pray properly and also the right position of prayer.
Matthew 6 : 7 here the bible is teaching us how to pray the bible made it clear that when we pray we should avoid repeating our prayers as the heathen do because the think that when the say so many word thier prays are heard but that's wrong the bible is teaching us to avoid repeating our prayers.
Isaiah 65 : 24 here the bible made is clear to us that even before we open out mouth to speak he has heared us and before we make our request known he has answered so we should avoid repeating our prayers or say I g so many words.
Bro Eli made me understand that when we want to pray we must kneel down vertically.
Bro Eli made also taught us not to pray like the hypocrite
Matthew 6 : 5 here the bible say the hypocrite stand in the synagogue in public places and shout there prayers the bible is teaching us that it is wrong.
The bible tells us that when we want to pray we should go to the closet and shout the door.
