Why do we sometimes feel we are far from God ( Part 1 of 2 ) Mcgi Topic Review.

A person who is thirsty will definitely appreciate water. When a man has hunger for God, he will not need any mobilisation to seek His face. This is the situation of the Psalmist in Psalm 63:1-11 - there was a longing in his heart to seek God. This accounts for why he chose to rise up early to present himself to the Lord in verse 1.

It is important to note that we can know God more. As we show our willingness to draw closer to Him, so He makes Himself available to us ( Jeremiah 29:13 ). Those who seek the Lord will find Him, especially when they do so with all their hearts.

Child of God, seeking God genuinely is usually a product of deep hunger and thirst. This is the reason you need to develop and/ or increase your thirst for Him. It is the desire of God that you move closer to Him all the time. He has great and deep things to show you as you seek Him and His right hand will uphold you in all you do and those who plot evil and destruction for you shall fall by the sword. Seeking God gives you such joy as you cannot explain.
