God is pleased aslo when a sinner repent from his or her sin. It pleases God to see a sinner return back to Him. Souls are very important to God. The worth of a soul is so valuable to Him that Jesus left His glories in Heaven, came down on earth and sacrificed His life on the Cross of Calvary to save man. It gives God pleasure to see a sinner repent and come back to Him because, it is His will to have all men saved and not to perish. The doors of sin have closed so many out of God's embrace and He is not happy about it. God wants us, by love and sharing of the good news, to open this gate so that sinners might have His forgiveness and be saved.
In life, many prized possessions exists such as certificate, employment papers, foreign passports, ATM, high denominations of money ete. When such things get lost, all methods are applied to find them because of their value.
Let's furthermore, the Shepherd in the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-10. Left behind 99 sheep that were probably more mature and could stay on their own, risked his life until he found the lost sheep. He laid it on his shoulder, rejoiced and called for celebration. Same with the woman who lost a piece of silver out of ten pieces, made a diligent search until she found it. Brethren, likewise, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents. It gives joy to God to see us live a sin free life.
