The right path is the path of the Lord. The former way of the Lord.
Jeremiah 6:16
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
It is the word of the Lord that is recorded by Jeremiah the prophet in this particular verse of the Bible.
Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way. The good way is among the old path.
Isaiah 56:11
Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
There are pastors or shephards whom He calls greedy dogs which can never have enough. They can never have enough. They look to their own eay, they invented their own, they form their own way, they constructed their own way for their gain.
They always want profit. They used religion as a means of profit. They are call by the Bible, as greedy dogs who are always asking for money to enrich themselves, exclusively for their gain.
The admonition of the Lord is for us to walk in the right path and not in the ways invented by our pastors. We have to look for the old path. What is the old path? And why is it old?
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The very path that we should walk in is before ordained by God. Before our creation, that way was prepared by the Lord. God has prepared a path for us to traverse in this life.
Hosea 14:9
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
It is called the way of the Lord, it is the old path.
How can you be sure that you are in the old path? If you are in the ways of the Lord
How can you be sure that you are in the right path? If you are following the ways of the. The ways of the Lord are His commandments, His teachings, His ordinances, those are God's ways and for us to be in the way of the Lord. We have to live so many earthly things to traverse in the way of the Lord.
