It feels so good to be back here again 😊. Welcome to my blog and my entry for the Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 34. I’m @Anniebest, and for this week’s performance, I’ll be doing a cover of the heartfelt song “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.

The first time I came across this song, I was completely drawn to it. I’ve loved it ever since. Whenever I play it, I find myself putting it on repeat. Every line speaks to my soul like it's written just for me. I’ve had to battle inner voices that whisper I’m not good enough — voices that bring back memories of past disappointments.

I remember when my big brother, @akwash360, encouraged me to join this community. At first, I said no. The idea of a competition made me nervous because it reminded me of an experience from high school. I had represented my school in a science quiz and didn’t win. That loss left me feeling broken and unworthy like I failed not just myself but everyone who believed in me.

Since then, I’ve always avoided anything labeled as a competition. But when I listened to this song, something shifted in me. The lyrics spoke life into places I had buried under fear. Especially the verses that say, “The only thing that matters now is what You think of me. In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity,” and “You have every failure, God, and You have every victory.”

Those lines gave me a new perspective and reminded me that my worth isn’t tied to past failures. I now have the confidence to face challenges knowing that what God says about me is what truly matters. I’m not afraid anymore, because I believe I am capable through His strength.

Lauren Daigle’s music is powerful her lyrics are deep, relatable, and uplifting. I have a few of her songs in my playlist and they have blessed me in more ways than I can count.

I truly hope this song speaks to someone out there like it did to me. If you’re struggling with self-worth or fear of failure, remember God’s word over your life is final, and He defines who you are.
