Hello everyone! I am Anniebest, and I’m super excited to be part of this amazing community, Hive Open Mic Week 264. It’s truly a blessing to be here, and I look forward to doing great things and growing musically alongside other talented individuals.

First, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to my big bro, @akwash360, for introducing me to this wonderful platform and encouraging me to participate in this week’s event. The theme for this week is “Stronger,” and in line with it, I’ll be presenting an original song I composed titled “Strong Tower.”

This song was inspired by a powerful Bible verse that has been a strong anchor in my life. Proverbs 18:10, which says: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” This verse reminds me that true safety, strength, and peace can only be found in God. It gives me comfort, especially in difficult times when I feel overwhelmed or emotionally drained.

There have been moments in my life when I opened up to people I trusted, only to have my fears and pain used against me. That betrayal left deep wounds, but it also taught me something valuable: only God offers a safe refuge. His name is a place of strength, a shield from the storm, and a place where I can rest, recharge, and rise stronger.
