Yes, older brother. I grew up in the fair Cape and had the best childhood. My dad was in the airforce so we lived on the Airforce base and had lots of friends and played outside. Apartheid was alive but my parents raised us you have respect for all. Great memories, my dad was strict but very fair. He told me you do not start anything and not finish it and if you make a mistake you correct it. We were part of the army so we were raised with a lot of respect and compassion. My mom was an angel straight out of heaven. My dad would not have survived if he was still alive to see the lack of respect and pride in our army and police now. Only good memories of my childhood. Never agreed with apartheid in the sense of some are worth less than others but I do miss those days for the country we had and things were working. And you?
