There is a debate around the world that crypto mining and especially bitcoin mining is using a lot of energy. The electrical bills are going up the last few months and people try to understand why this is happening.
Many accuse bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that use high amounts of power and in combination with high oil and natural gas prices this makes home bills more expensive.
Bitcoin network is right now the safest network on the world. Nobody knows for sure how much energy it uses but if we compare it we other databases and cloud providers, the consumption is relatively low.
Those who mine crypto must ensure that they use green energy from solar on wind power. We must ensure that our network isn't just safe but environmentally friendly also.
