Walking this morning was a little on the slow side; I've got the small c (cold), as opposed to the big c (Covid), well, that's my diagnosis anyhow... ha
Our walk took us around our favourite quarry again, Deepdale Trees. It's favourite status is slowly fading in places, as some parts have been sold off and more and more areas are fenced off for us plebs not to be entered.. 😠
It turned quite a nice little walk, but I'm glad to be home now..
The whole walk takes us around Sandy Heath Transmitter, which was erected in 1965, and transmits the major UK stations across Central Bedfordshire.
It's quite impressive looking up it and the photo doesn't do that justice.

Mia had a haircut over Easter... A cool cut ready for the warmer weather..
Lot's of the trees were ill, I believe, and got ripped out during the storms we had, as they were too weak. You can see that they've been cleared out a little.

This side of the quarry has been worked in until recently, but only one machine seems to be left now; there is a new area behind those trees there.
