Hi everyone back again with a potrait this time. So just finished my mid-semester and a friend of mine requested me to make a portrait for his friend. It was made with a tight deadline as he was going home just the next day of exam, so I had to make the drawing on the same day and some on the next day of the last exam.
It is made in an A4 size sheet with graphite pencils.
So this is the final drawing I could make by exploiting myself for an ice cream 馃槄.
I used the Grid method once again, most efficient way to get the proportions right in one go. Also, my freehand drawing has deteriorated quite a bit. I felt that in this drawing.
Most of the time was spent on her face as she has quite an expressive expression in this one. except that I drew everything quickly like the hands, the hair and the fabric. could have made clothes better.
This is the reference picture used. I believe I do deserve an Ice-Cream for this 馃槫, he hasn't given me that yet. what do you guys think??
