Hey Panosdada, I saw a familiar avatar, and a title that peaked my interest... decided to stop by for a good read.

Indeed it was a great read! And it sent me on my own ride down the memory lane... I can pretty confidently say that we all share some slight variation of these stories in our lives. The worst part is when we carry the resentment for a long time, only to later find out that these people don't even know why you're upset with them.

Do you find yourself 'on guard' with other people in your life because of these betrayals? Have they affected how you consider partnering up with people?

Also, I'm curious, have there been positive life-shaping encounters in your life? I think that might make a balancing sister-story.

In my case, there are, of course, betrayals and deceptions, but there are also people who have been so generous to me, that I struggle to believe how lucky my life has been. And there are also people who shaped my taste in music (which I consider a huge aspect of my life), they've affected my belief system, my political orientation, etc.

PS. This would actually make a great writing assignment challenge.
