To avoid breakage, place fragile items (if carried) in the middle of your luggage so that they are surrounded by your clothes.

Given the delicacy of luggage services at airports, it is better to avoid putting items such as a computer, a hard drive or a camera in the hold. Sensitive to shock, these devices will be much better in your hand luggage!
