There was once a mother duck. two This mom duck had no teenagers yet for none of her eggs had hatched.
She waited patiently day and night time for her toddlers to hatch. One day, as she used to be sitting on her nest of eggs the mother duck felt something move beneath her.
CRACK!! two CRACK!! CRACK!! CRACK!!
Filled with happiness, the mother duck watched as, one through one, her eggs hatched. She used to be so excited to lead her adolescents to the pond and teach them all the methods of being a duck. Unfortunately for the mother duck, one egg was once left to hatch. This egg used to be larger than the rest. This egg used to be browner than the rest. Her little geese impatiently waited for two greater days and nights.
“I choose to go to the pond, Mother,” one toddler duck quacked.
“Let’s go! two Let’s go!” two greater quacked excitedly.
But the mother duck made them all wait, for she promised herself that she would love all her young people the same.
At the crack of sunrise on the third day of waiting, the giant brown egg commenced to vibrate. two It shook and shook as all of the ducks watched in awe.
Then suddenly: CRAAAAACK!!!
Out from the massive brown egg popped a large, peculiar searching head of a chicken that didn’t seem to be an awful lot like a duck. This baby’s beak was a little too long, his feathers have been a little too scruffy, and his face was once a little too ugly!
She led her adolescents into the close by pond and started out to instruct every duckling how to be a acceptable duck.
She taught them how to quack. two Each duckling quacked.
QUACK!! two QUACK!! two QUACK!! two QUACK!!
The unpleasant duckling quacked.
