Tilacino.
Extinct in 1930. Also called the marsupial wolf, Tasmanian wolf or Tasmanian tiger, thylacine was a challenge for biology. It was a species native to all of Australia and New Guinea, although when the first settlers arrived on their territory there was only one small redoubt in Tasmania. It has been determined to be a marsupial, but it had characteristics of canine and feline that made it an infallible predator.
For this reason, and to protect livestock, the authorities offered a reward to the citizens for each horse killed.
