Of course, daily animal care routines take a lot of time and energy. But a couple of times a month I have especially hard days. These are the days when I bring and sort animal feed. For example, each bag of grain weighs 25 kg ... I don’t have so much physical strength to lift it ... But I need to reload the grain in special containers so that the mice do not spoil it. I use the car as a lever to lift the bag and transport it. Then I pour some of the grain with a bucket and only when there is grain left so that I can lift the bag, I pour the grain into the container.
But still it’s tiring and my back doesn’t like it. But when the work is finished, I am always happy that I can forget about it for a while.
And also these containers ... They are already over 50 years old! Once my parents traveled with them, packing their things there. My family moved a lot. Now these containers are retired, but they continue to work, storing food for my animals.
