Seven months have passed since I was left alone with 17 dogs and more than 100 birds with disabilities and another 9 different small animals. Those who know me for a long time know that my husband wanted a more comfortable life. And you know what? For all these months, he never asked how we live and how we survive.
The main difficulty is that I had to look for other ways to earn money, remote work because I can not leave animals and birds for a long time. At first, I was terrified. I could not imagine how I could handle it. But gradually, life began to improve, I'm getting used to it and I'm doing pretty well.
And I know one more thing. The world around us and the people around us often treat us better than we think. Some come to help clean the enclosures, some help with animal feed or money. Seven months have passed, but we are all alive and well!
Just yesterday I asked about slop to buy firewood and today there is already about a quarter of the required amount!
