Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge on Splinterlands - Maggots
Hi Splinterlands Warriors!!!
This is my entry to the weekly Share your battle challenge.
This week's theme is Maggots and Maggots is a Death Splinter Melee Attack Monster.
I really do not have the mind to join this contest because I don't use Death splinter often, which means I don't use Maggots but this morning, there was this battle I had no better option than to use the death splinter. So I tried Maggots.
About The Battle
The battle was a 22 Mana cost battle and the rules says "Healed Out". I am very used to using a monster that has the healing ability most especially healing on Melee attack.
For this battle, looking for the best strategy to use to win the battle, I thought of using a card with good Armor then I decided to use my Level 4 Goblin Mech because of its stats most especially the Armor, the Armor guides the Monster such that only a enemy magic attack monster can kill the card without hitting Armor. Since the battle mana cost wasn't much. I know my opponent won't be able to bring enough magic card.
Why I used Maggots
In this battle, I definitely can use a Range attack monster but the mana cost will restrict me from picking the one I want. So I decided to use Maggots because of its "Opportunity" ability. This ability will make it attack from anywhere which will cover for a range attack monster plus it will attack monster with lowest health.
To back it up, in case my opponent bring monsters with armor. I choose a legendary magic card, Spirit Miner.
This card helped a lot and even my maggots didn't die till the end of the battle.
With this 3 cards. Battle was a win.
My strategy worked fine for the battle.
