Goals which are out of reach at the moment are sometimes referred to as dreams. Some take this word too literally, in that we are meant to forever just dream of something, nostalgically yearn, never quite reaching that goal. Oh woe....

I respectfully disagree. We are here to dream, to face adversity, to face the impossible, and overcome it, learn from it, embrace it. We are here to make our dreams come true, and have new dreams.
People have proven again, and again, that things previously thought of as impossible are actually within the realm of possibilities. Never let anyone tell you what you can or can't do.
