Hello my people from this great community, hoping that these relaxing days are having a great time as a family 👨👩👦👦
Right now I want to comment on something that happened to me.
In these days of non-working days I was about to take a few days off, even knowing that we doctors and more obstetricians do not have rest, even so I had hope.🙏😇
Try to schedule everything so that Thursday and Friday are free.
# Expectation
On Thursday we had planned a family reunion, with lunch, talk, at the Mirador, it is the home of my wife's aunt, a quite pleasant place, with a very delicious cold, about 15 minutes from the city, ideal place to disconnect
a great view

Reality
On Thursday, very early in the morning I receive a call, my patient is Darianne, very well behaved, she goes to her Pre-natal control, it is her first baby and on Wednesday I had to see her🧐
As a patient who was at term (38 weeks) was like, I had to see her weekly, in this way to see if everything was going well and if we would not have any surprises in the coming days that would be holidays.
However, due to personal matters, Darianne could not go to the consultation and I could not assess her.
It turned out that in the early hours of Thursday Darianne starts with some pain and so she calls me
So the relaxation plans are postponed, I run to my office, and I go to see Darianne, to be honest I thought it was just certain colic preparations, called Braxton Hicks contractions, which are contractions that precede childbirth, they are not dangerous and it is certainly not labor,I thought it was just a scare and that's it, so I'd see darianne very early in the morning and still be able to go to the meeting.
In the query
Leaving at full speed, I arrive at the consultation, and I see Darianne, they are very calm, so when I saw her she gave me a masterful peace of mind
I see her, I begin to ask what had happened?
He answers me: I have felt slight pain, however it is already going away 😔
In my mind: I think for sure it's nothing weird🧐 just a new mom who is nervous
When he examined her: Surprise😱
They are in clear labor, so now let's run🏃
# Prepare OR
Because the baby had a loop of cord in her neck, we needed to perform a C-section, and to lower the risk of any problems with the baby, so we had to perform a C-section.
Because it was a ##Holy Thursday
All the operating room staff had to be mobilized, a somewhat difficult task 🤭
Fortunately, the staff was active and in a short time we were all ready 😁
Caesarean section
The surgical intervention went smoothly, everything went very well, and we obtained a beautiful baby named Diana, healthy, rosagant, who weighed a healthy 3,150 grams.
This is Diana
Everything went well
In the end, everything went very well, Diana met with her mom and dad and they were all very happy.
Hour 2 conclusions
Obstetricians don't have days off😔
Since babies do not have a time or date on the calendar, they are born when they want 😇You have to try to go to your controls on the scheduled date since it is necessary to see how the evolution is.
If we had seen Dari on Wednesday as it is planned, Dianita would not have given us the surprise, since we would know that it is coming 😁
Go to your controls as necessary and so we can see that you and your baby are fine and more so when your date approaches

Now my dearest moms, I say goodbye, I hope you have a good time
A lot of prudence these days, see you at the consultation on Monday🧐
