I would not be excessively insightful - so extremely astute

That I should jeer at basic melodies and ideologies,

Furthermore, let the glare of insight daze my eyes

To humble individuals and their unassuming needs.

I would not want to climb so high that I

Would never hear the youngsters at their play,

Could just observe the general population cruising by,

What's more, never hear the cheering words they say.

I would not know excessively - a lot to grin

At minor mistakes of the heart and hand,

Nor be excessively pleased, making it impossible to play the companion the while,

Nor stop to help and know and get it.

I would not want to sit upon a position of royalty,

Or on the other hand manufacture my home upon a peak,

Where I should abide in transcendence in solitude

Furthermore, never companion come in or poor man stop.

God concede that I may live upon this world

Furthermore, confront the undertakings which each morning brings

Also, never lose the magnificence and the value

Of humble administration and the straightforward things.
