Hope is faith in yourself that everything will be alright. It serve to be a reason to live life. It play great role when you are disappointed from everyone and people let you down but power of hope provide a consistency in your behavior and a trust in oneself that things will be "OK" earlier or later.
People's get experiences from their past, to live their life but hope give them strength that they will have a better living in future and become a successful one. It's a sort of imagination, magic,aspiration or a desire that give you courage and strength even in hectic days.
It is power of hope that make patient siblings to believe that he/she will be alright.
Hope give power to investors to invest in business more and more inspite of fact that he is suffering a great loss.
People or countries broke out wars, they don't know that whether they are successful or not but still they have hope that they will be Victorious.

Hope is like a rainbow that gives different colors to life, it also has black color because your hopes are not all the time to be fulfilled in same way as you want. Hope give you lesson, not to give up and story of striving spider to reach roof best suited there. It's the inner wisper of a being that maybe things will be better when everyone let down you.
I must say that about 70-80% worldly affairs lie on this concept of hope. It's like a candle that shed the darkness of despair and disappointments.
