Today was indeed a #beauitfulSunday joining some lovely friends at one of the most popular Surf Clubs on the Sunshine Coast. Getting out on a Sunday means being part of the fun people busyness. There are so many out and about, so much so that it was hard to get a park. All one had to do was drive around for awhile before spotting an empty park. Not that I blame everyone gathering at the beach today because today was sunny and warm which was a contrast from a week of rainy cold weather of the last seven days.
It was all worth the effort once we arrived at the table in the Surf Club. The ocean view from out table was simply breath taking. There is nothing better than a panoramic scene of blue water and sail boats, amazing nature that is always food for the soul.
People were very busy doing their own special Sunday thing whether they were sailing, surfing, swimming or sitting on the sand. It was a delight to see happy people enjoying out in the fresh air away from the confines of lockdown at home.


It was a fun time with a glass of wine over lunch as we talked and laugh. So nice to be out and about on Sunday.

Like all surf clubs in Australia, Mooloolaba Surf Club is an institutional icon, a place that has been successfully operating for a very long number of years. There are many members who have joined to enjoy the food and beverage. It is a place with surfing history, thank goodness it is surviving the current COVID-19 pandemic. We will make sure that we will go back to enjoy a lunch at this Surf Club again in the near future.

I have not seen a Lady Beetle for a good long while but as we were standing outside one landed on Ben's shirt. It is said that they bring good luck, let's hope so. The world can do with this right now
