Walking along the surf beach across the road from my place, in the late afternoon is very much a hit and miss when it comes to seeing a kaleidoscope of beautiful pre-sunset colours, shadows and reflections. Nature likes to entertain me with wonderful dark stormy wind blown beaches as well. Variety is the spice of life they say.
But, I scored the other day when I saw reflections of these clouds on the water's edge that I confess I have not had the privilege to see before. Nature had indeed turned it on!
The sunset was lighting up some relatively small white clouds lined up in a row. When I looked I could not discern whether it was just all white or white with a touch of gold light. I really like the combination blue of the sky and ocean with the light reflection effect in the wet sand. I think it is a beautiful picturesque nature combo.
This is my entry photo in the Contest - Round #56
I took this shot of only a couple of clouds and reflections on the wet beach, very pretty I think but definitely not as magnificent as photo number one.
I am glad I walked along the surf beach on this particular afternoon, I got more than what I expected.
